Our Labs in Oakland, California
Highly trained AnimalBiome employees in our Oakland, California labs use PacBio sequencing technology to analyze the DNA found in each sample, and then employ sophisticated software to identify and analyze thousands of different types of bacteria. We compare cat and dog gut samples with our proprietary microbiome reference database, We provide our customers with a customized and actionable report to help them understand their pet’s results. For cats and dogs, our gut microbiome testing reports also include a comparison to the healthy reference database and recommendations to improve each pet’s gut and overall health.
