Our rescue dog Jake has inflammatory bowel disease. He is on a strict hydrolyzed protein diet, which is certainly important, but did not completely solve his GI problems. After getting a microbiome test, the Animal Biome consultant recommended we try the S. boulardii/FOS product. Almost immediately his periodic loose stools firmed up and he became far more regular. It also virtually eliminated his occasional loss of appetite. After over a year on the product with these great results, we accidently ran out when on vacation, and his old symptoms very quickly returned. After we got him back on the product, he was back to normal in just a couple of days. We are believers!

I adopted a 9 week old male kitten and quickly realized he had diarrhea and so much stinky gas! He was very skittish and scared his first couple weeks with us so we thought maybe the digestive issues were due to stress. But as he got used to his new home and started letting me pet him and hold him, the problems continued. We took him to the vet and tried a new bland diet of dry food from Hill's Science Diet and after a month on the diet, there was no change. His bowel movements were literally liquid, lots of gas along with it so it was quite messy, and he was in and out of the litter box many times a day with the runs. Luckily he was so good about getting in there on time! The vet then prescribed some probiotics but they actually made things a bit worse so we stopped those and then she recommended AnimalBiome. After completing the samples and mailing in (which was very easy) we got Cooper's test results back via email. They recommended the Gut Restore supplement and the S. bourlardii + FOS pro and prebiotic powder. He's about 3 weeks on both supplements and he has been slowly having firmer poops and the gas has stopped. Today he had a totally normal bowel movement and we celebrated! Haha!! He's always acted very normal and playful with a good appetite even during the digestive issues so we were lucky there, but I certainly didn't want him to live his life with the terrible runs. I would highly recommend this product. The special diet and original probiotics didn't help at all and now I feel like he's definitely on track for life-long, normal bowel movements. Our 22 year old cat is in overall great health, but he has suffered with chronic and frequent loose stool for over 9 months. We purchased this product plus the Gut Restore Capsules, but were hesitant to give the Gut Restore due to his age and the trauma of administering pills daily. Well, it ended up that we didn't need to, because the S. Boulardii + FOS supplement did the trick. When we started, his stool was pure liquid. After just 3 weeks, it was beginning to develop some body and form, and at around 5 weeks he had fully formed stools. He still occasionally has times where his stool is looser than normal, but overall he has regular, formed stools now the appropriate amount of times on a daily basis. This stuff is miraculous and we would highly recommend it to anyone with a fur baby struggling with digestive/elimination issues! Thank you AnimalBiome for this wonderful product!!!
