Excellent product!

We have a 12.5 yo miniature schnauzer who is our little girl. She has developed a sensitive tummy as a senior. We cook her food at home and along with BalanceIt supplements to make her diet nutritionally complete we give her daily digestive enzymes on her food plus a daily dose of GMP. We test her fecals every 6 months as well to make sure she’s on track. Between the digestive enzymes and the probiotics we have seen a great improvement in her stools. And if she does get diarrhea (generally from eating bunny boop in her yard … grrr…we have to watch her like hawks…bunny poop messes with her gut) she bounces back much more quickly. I highly recommend for any dog with a sensitive GI system. Definitely worth a try!

Saved my dog and wallet

As a puppy, Dakari was exposed to Giardia when I adopted several greyhounds. He was treated with several rounds of metronidazole which stripped his gut of everything good. This resulted in numerous trips to the vet every month where he received the same treatment; x-rays, fluids and Cernia.
Obviously, this didn't address the problem, just the symptoms. So I took him to a different vet who was trying to save some orphaned bobcats who'd been given metronidazole to combat Giardia. The Giardia was gone, but now they couldn't keep food down. After trying various things, she opted to do a fecal transplant. Within days, the improvement was substantial.
So she recommended that I try a fecal transplant for Dakari and suggested I use Animal Biome Gut Restore. After treatment, the frequent, painful episodes subsided to maybe 1 or 2 a year. I have since added Animal Biome Daily Digest enzymes and I'm thrilled to say that Dakari turned 5 on June 19th and he no longer needs the urgent trips to the vet.
Thanks to Animal Biome's amazing products, I have a happy and healthy dog.

Makes my Rebels belly happy 😊

My poor Rebel was a pound puppy. He kept running away from his home and winding up at the pound. The owners finally just ignored the calls and they called us. When we brought him home it was constant diarrhea. Endless tests we figured out he was allergic to corn and chicken 😲. Found suitable food and life was good, we thought. I come home from work one day and he's lethargic and pale. Rush him to vet and it turns out he has digestive issues as well. Vet says get him animal biome. Sure, it all has chicken! Stumbled across these amazing people. Doggie biome, no chicken, no corn! He's been on it for over a year now. Haven't had any issues since. Best stuff EVER.

Love Daily Digest Enzymes

I love Daily Digest enzymes to help my dog's digestion, as she does not digest carbohydrates.
It also includes Saccharomyces boulardii and slippery elm, which are two more of our favorite ingredients.
Five Stars!!  I recommend this product.

a good fit for my dog

My pup is getting older, and he's always been pretty thin. he's rejected other digestive enzymes because he doesn't like the taste, but this one he doesn't seem to mind, and he's continued to eat just like normal. it's too early to tell yet if it's helping him to gain any weight, but it's certainly worth a shot!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to give my pet Daily Digest with every meal?

The job of Daily Digest is to help break down your pet’s food. To maximize the benefits of the enzymes in Daily Digest, the powder must be added to each meal.

Is it safe to give my pet Daily Digest at the same time as a probiotic?

Yes. The digestive enzymes in Daily Digest will not impact the effectiveness of probiotics.

Can I mix Daily Digest with my pet’s water instead?

We don’t recommend that you mix the Daily Digest powder with water. It is not harmful to do so, but for the enzymes to work, they need to be given with your pet’s food.

Why do I need to discard food that I’ve added Daily Digest to after 30 minutes?

This powerful blend of digestive enzymes starts breaking down food right away. This majority of this process needs to take place in your pet’s stomach in order to reap the benefits of the digestive enzymes.

Is Daily Digest an appropriate enzyme supplement for pets with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) or other pancreatic disorders?

Daily Digest is not intended for pets diagnosed with pancreatic conditions like Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). It’s not harmful for a pet with one of these conditions to ingest Daily Digest, but we recommend consulting with your pet’s veterinarian about the best options for managing your pet’s condition.

Can Daily Digest be given with other AnimalBiome supplements?

Due to the amount of prebiotic fiber in both S boulardii + FOS and Digestive Enzymes, some pets may experience digestive upset. If this occurs, reduce the S boulardii + FOS amount by half, and gradually increase over 2-3 weeks.

Are there any risks associated with Daily Digest?

In very rare cases, and with long-term use, digestive enzymes can irritate the lining of the upper digestive tract. Contact your veterinarian if symptoms arise
